Mexico’s Costeño Group opening first US restaurant at Time-Life Constructing

The outstanding restaurant house on the West fiftieth Road aspect of Rockefeller Group’s 1271 Sixth Ave., which fell vacant when the pandemic crushed Le Ache Quotidien there in 2020, has a brand new, fine-dining tenant. Costeño Group, which operates dozens of celebrated, high-end and informal eating places in Mexico and Madrid, Spain, simply signed for over 8,000 sq. toes — half at floor degree and the opposite half within the concourse.

It should open in late 2024 as Costeño’s first US location.

The empire’s Mexico Metropolis flagship was the primary restaurant in that nation to earn a coveted Six-Star Diamond award.

CBRE’s Eric Gelber and Jordan Kaplan repped Rock Group together with a Rock Group group led by Invoice Edwards and Marisa Gadlin. Cushman & Wakefield’s Michael Azarian and James Ariola acted for Costeño Group.  

Invoice Edwards, head of Core Holdings for Rockefeller Group which oversees Rockefeller’s Midtown holdings, mentioned the Costeño lease “places an exclamation level on an excellent constructing repositioning.”

The deal brings the two.1 million square-foot tower’s workplace and retailer house to 100% leased. Different retail tenants embrace Avra Estiatorio, Capital Grille, Ted’s Montana Grill and the MLB flagship retailer. Workplace tenants embrace MLB, Latham & Watkins and Bessemer Belief.
