This onion made him cry tears of pleasure.
A gardener in England introduced a behemoth almost 20-pound onion to a flower present in North Yorkshire — and organizers imagine the behemoth vegetable could set a world file.
Gareth Griffin’s voluminous veggie — which weighed in at 19.77 kilos — beat out the previous file of 18.68 that was set in 2014.
Organizers of the Harrogate Autumn Flower Present, which runs till Sunday at Newby Corridor & Gardens, posted the onion on its Instagram web page, with a disclaimer stating the feat continues to be pending Guinness World Data’ overview.
“I’m wondering what number of onion rings you may make from this?” one cheeky Instagrammer mused.
One other quipped: “I believe I might cry if I noticed it!”
The prized onion may be discovered on show on the present’s Unbelievable Edible Pavilion amongst different big greens comparable to a cabbage, cucumber and carrot.
