Atlas Renewable Vitality has signed a PPA with Albras, Brazil’s largest major aluminum producer. The contract, signed in US {dollars}, will see Atlas provide solar energy for 21 years, the longest time period ever signed in Latin America for a company renewable vitality PPA.

The vitality provided to Albras will come from the Vista Alegre Photovoltaic Venture, scheduled to start out operations in 2025. The partnership between Atlas and Albras will generate sufficient renewable vitality to energy the equal of roughly 3 million inhabitants, similar to Brazil’s capital Brasilia.
